FORAGING RETREAT / HOLIDAY BREAK

With international help we develop edible landscapes in the heart of France.

If you would like to discover living back to basics, learning and practicing permaculture and low-tech, you can join Club Cueillette, alone, with your family or friends:

* 6-10 days holiday breaks: Join us for an immersive holiday experience where we explore the world of perennial vegetables, food forests, and traditional agricultural wisdom. Over the course of 6-10 days, you’ll have the opportunity to work hands-on in diverse gardens, contributing to the development of our starting food forest. Along the way, you’ll discover the potential of perennial plants and learn from ancient, forgotten knowledge that can enhance sustainable and regenerative gardening practices.
In summer, we work in the morning and you will be free in the afternoon. Our planning is flexible, the weather is unpredictable; we adapt to the circumstances. You will have enough time to enjoy your holiday break or reflect your future endeavours at a place where even the squirrels say bonjour.

* Stay alone, with family or friends (max 6p) in a renovated wine farm near the charming village of Bellenaves. Surrounded by a starting food forest, with a lot of privacy. We live in another village at 15km. You will join us during working sessions or if you prefer, you can work alone in one of our gardens.

* If you have children they can enjoy building structures in the forest, a climbing park at 10 minutes, fishing in the river or the lakes. The beautiful Gorges de la Sioule, numerous castles, and the stunning volcanoes of the Puy-de-Dôme are just a short distance away from us.

* You can find vibrant cities like Vichy, Moulins, and Clermont-Ferrand within an hour.  

Prices from 500 / 750 EUROS (low and high season), taxes and 2 meals during working days are included, sheets and towels are provided. You’ll find a train station at 1,5km. We live 3h south from Paris by train or car.
